It's time to let Him crash...
God desires to take us deeper into places we have only dreamed of going. Your knees will shake, and your heart will pound! It will be the most wonderful thing you have ever done. Let your heart move away from the shore of the fears that have held you captive for so long. No matter if you sink or swim He will always be there. This is our saving grace. Stop fearing the very waters He has created to take us to the shore of our destined place and beyond. Jump in the water is amazing!!

Who are You?
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he... Pro. 23:7 We live in a world of labels. Some labels are very necessary because they help us to identify and categorize things. They help us put things in place in our minds. The issues with labels is when they are used to define our purpose and destiny in God according to what labels are put on us by those who don't know us. God told Jeremiah “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 Just like Jeremiah, God appointed us before He formed us in the womb of our mother. Only He can show us who we are and what we were called to do. We have a part in having His plan become how we live by how we choose to think. Our thinking shapes our lives, and we behavior in a manner ordered by our thinking. We must that time to be with the Father, the very One who made us so we can get to know who we really are and what we were created to do. He wants us to know like He knows... The truth that make us free. Fear is on a mission!
Fear is known as False Evidence Appearing Real God has not given us a spirit of fear: but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind 2 Tim 1:7 Fear is not just one spirit, but it takes the form of what every your mind obsesses over. When dealing with fear please know and understand the following. 1. Fear is a liar Most fears are not based on facts, but on supposition. No real evidence to support why a fear in a area exist. Question- What if I fail in a business? There is no prove that you will fail. The mission of fear is to stop you from starting the business. 2. Fear is to paralyze you in your tracks One of the tactics of fear is to start the spinning wheel affect in your mind called the "what if's" negative narrative. The "what if's" then spin and take over your thinking. What if I fall, what if this don't work, what if I'm not good enough on and on. We freeze and become paralyzed with fear. 3. Do it any way. Do it afraid. Know that everyone deals with fear. We all all born with 2 fears, that fear of failing, and the fear of loud noises. As we grow as children and in adulthood, the fears we have are either taught, or by some traumatic experience emotional or physical. If we don't deal with the truth concerning the experience, we can begin to not want to move beyond that time and get stuck in the emotion. This can cause us to not grow beyond that point and live in that moment's cycle of pain. We must decide to step into the light of heaven and do new things until the fear falls off. 4. So what if it doesn't work? The spirit of fear can paint a picture of finality like it's the end. When we do it afraid, we find that the power we gain came from doing it, and not from succeeding in it. We become stronger and learn how to bounce back, gain strength, and be brave. We begin to do things we never thought we could do. We become who He really meant for us to be all along. The fear falls off and we start to soar. Don't delay, fly high! Do it afraid! The Issue
There is a saying that goes "We are the sum total of the choices we've made." Looking at the truth of that statement, we come to understand that we have the power to lasting change, one clear God decision at a time. Only by making the right decisions, can we align with God's plan in Jer. 29:11, and come to His expected end that He already has planned for us. What ever God's priority is in your life is where His grace to change is. Don't make it your priority to change someone else, because trying change someone else is control, but we can influence those we love by our manner of loving and living. What does God have His eyes on in your life? Don't lean to your own understanding in this season! Pray! Seek God and make the choice He wants you to make concerning the areas of your life. He promised to bring to past those things you commit to him. Pro. 3:5-6, Pro. 16:3 What is truth?
There was a game show in the late 60's and 70's called named "To tell the truth". On this game show there would be a contestant that had to by listen to information that was given by 3 people which one was telling the truth about their live. As the show went on, each of the 3 people would give very convincing stories and answer questions by the contestant in order to make the contestant believe that they indeed was the person they were portraying. At the end of the game the host would ask for the real person to stand and most of the time the real person wouldn't be the one the contestant thought that person to be. Every person we meet are the contestants, and we get to portray the person we choose for them to see. They may never know who the real "US' are, but we know the truth. It's only the truth that has the power to make us free It's OK
One of the most wonderful things about life is that we are not perfect! That means we all have the opportunity to grow and get better. Don't waste time focusing on weather something is perfect, just keep giving your heart to everything you do for God and He will use it for His glory. All He wants is our hearts! Have a drink!
Father says... In this season you must learn to be consumers of joy, My Joy!!! Take full advantage of this deep, full of glory commodity! For you will never have enough! Drink deep of my flow and constantly be filled to overflowing with it. For in this joy you will meet every demand. You will meet every situation. You will meet all your days and nights in my light, full of peace, full of My answers, and full of joy knowing that I AM ever with you! Drink deep daily, drink often, and be ever consumed with MY joy!!! Lacy The wrong standard!
When the revelation of this scripture hit my spirit, a new level of freedom was released! Wait...What? You mean to tell me just because my flesh, my carnal nature, my body is screaming for something that will bring temporary satisfaction, I don't have to obey it? All of the years I spend running at the smallest whims of my appetite and I wasn't obligated to do it? Wow, the years I spent, spent running after things that will never filled my heart, just because I had an urge to do it, or to eat it. This standard that is set up by the dictates of the flesh was formed in us at a time of great distress. We learned very early that we may not get our way with other people, but we can get away with things we don't hold ourselves accountable to. Now depending on where you are in your process, you may still have issues with the "flesh standard", due to not being willing to or not knowing how commit to the healthier boundaries you would like to be a part of your life. You find that indeed there is a fight going on all the time. You want to do right, but can't find the power to do it. Rom. 7:18 What do you do with your body if it's out of control body. Tell it NO! Titus 2:11-12 11. For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, Saying no to ourselves is something we were not taught to do. We grow up in our family environment that for the most part we heard a lot of (no's) No, you can't do this or that and should have been that way because if we were able to do all the things we wanted, I'm sure many of us would not be living today. Because of hearing the word no so much, we decided without even knowing it that we would say yes to ourselves and we said yes to a lot of things we should have said NO to. This led us to saying yes to bad eating habits, and bad relationships that has caused us much pain during our life. Here's the good news! We can still turn this ship around! It will take time, effort, patience and a lot of NO's Making a new commitment to yourself is the first thing to do, just this one thing can make a world of difference. When we begin to say no to our bodily appetites, we begin the process of saying yes. Yes to what? Yes to better health, by saying no to junk food. Yes to being more rested, by saying no to staying up late. Yes to better physical health, by saying no to hitting the snooze button and getting up early to workout. Yes to better relationship, by saying no to angry and fear concerning relational issues. We see that by saying NO to the standard set up by the dictates of the flesh, we are saying YES to all that God has for us. Say no today, so your YES can begin. |
